I’ve followed The Simple Dollar for quite a few months now. They have great advice on being frugal and getting the most out of life while improving your finances. But one of their latest posts really exemplifies the mindset that more Cooler People need to be applying to their own lives.
So many Cooler People attach their happiness to the stuff that they have or the gadgets they use, or, of course, how much money they have. But if they aren’t truly happy on the inside or proud of what they do, it affects the rest of their life too:
That positivity and negativity of thought affects everything in our lives. If we’re miserable in our jobs, that misery gradually flows through our life. If we love our jobs, that joy gradually flows through our life, too. That affects everything throughout your life – your health, your personal relationships, and eventually your job, too.
Click on the link above and read a really smart post about finding contentment in your life and making adjustments along the way. The main points at the end are worth the price of admission alone (which, actually, is free – it’s just an expression).
